¿Quién se esconde detrás de los muros de la Medina, el centro histórico de Casablanca? La realizadora nos guía por las estrechas calles e incluso dentro de algún que otro hogar. La mayoría de ellos nunca sale de la Medina, el mundo exterior solo llega a través de las antenas de televisión. La Medina enciende la imaginación de los turistas, pero para sus habitantes es una dura realidad. Una visión relajada y honesta del viejo corazón de Casablanca que sigue latiendo con fuerza.

Who is hidden behind the walls of the Medina, the old city of Casablanca? The director leads us through the narrow streets and over the threshold of some of the residents’ homes. Most of them spend their entire life there; the outside world only enters through the satellite dishes. Whereas the Medina is a place feeding tourists’ imagination, for them it is not a fairy tale, but a raw reality. A relaxed, honest impression of the old but firmly beating heart of Casablanca.
