Tomando como punto de partida el viaje de un grupo de franceses que siguen las huellas de los suyos, Bougafer 33 es un recorrido en el tiempo y el espacio que cuenta la batalla que tuvo lugar en 1933 al pie del monte Bougafer durante la guerra que libró Marruecos contra la conquista colonial franco-española. Testimonios, imágenes de archivo, relatos escritos y cantos restituyen la historia de los últimos resistentes de los Ait Atta. La epopeya de una lucha encarnizada y muy organizada en la que participaron mujeres y niños en nombre de la libertad.

Prenant pour point de départ le voyage d’un groupe de Français venus se recueillir sur les traces des leurs, Bougafer 33 est un voyage dans le temps et l’espace racontant la bataille survenue en 1933 au pied de la montagne Bougafer, durant la guerre qu’a menée le Maroc contre la conquête coloniale franco-espagnole. Témoignages, archives vidéo, récits notés, manuscrits et chants restituent l’histoire des derniers résistants des Aït Atta. L’épopée d’une lutte acharnée et hautement organisée, à laquelle femmes et enfants ont pris part au nom de la liberté.

Taking the expedition of a group of Frenchmen following in the tracks of their fellow countrymen as a starting point, Bougafer 33 is a journey through time and space that tells of the battle that took place in 1933 at the foot of the Bougafer Mountain during the war Morocco fought against the French-Spanish colonial conquest.
