En 1939, el fin de la Guerra Civil española obligó a miles de hombres, mujeres y niños a huir de la España franquista. La administración francesa en Argelia abrió campos para acogerlos. Setenta años después, un joven argelino investiga lo que ocurrió. A pesar de la falta de archivos, los rastros de estos campos han sobrevivido al olvido colectivo y siguen apareciendo en la Argelia actual.

En 1939, la fin de la guerre civile espagnole oblige des milliers d’hommes, de femmes et d’enfants à fuir l’Espagne franquiste. En Algérie, l’administration française ouvre des camps pour les accueillir. 70 après, un jeune Algérien enquête sur ces camps. Malgré l’absence d’archives, les traces ont survécu à l’oubli collectif et transparaissent dans l’Algérie d’aujourd’hui.

In 1939, the end of the Spanish Civil War forced thousands of men, women and children to flee Francoist Spain. The French administration in Algeria opened refugee camps to take them in. Seventy years later, a young Algerian investigates the past. Despite the absence of archives and files, the traces of these camps have survived the collective oblivion and still appear in current Algeria.
