SINOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Un grupo de refugiados del Congo está bloqueado en Rabat. La frontera con España les impide cruzar a Europa. En una remota habitación en la periferia de la ciudad ensayan una pieza de teatro sobre su propia experiencia. Una obra imperfecta, inacabada. La vida real se confunde con su representación. Entre ellos, Apollinaire cuenta, frontalmente, un eterno viaje de final incierto. Archivos televisivos muestran migrantes expulsados al desierto, obligados a empezar de nuevo. Rostros que han perdido sus nombres. Detrás permanecen los espacios vacíos de lo sucedido. Huellas silenciosas que revelan su historia como nuestra.

Un groupe de réfugiés du Congo est bloqué à Rabat. La frontière avec l’Espagne les empêche de traverser vers l’Europe. Dans une lointaine chambre dans la périphérie de la ville, ils répètent une pièce de théâtre sur leur propre expérience. Une pièce imparfaite, inachevée. La réalité se confond avec leur représentation. Entre eux, Apollinaire raconte, frontalement, un éternel voyage d’une fin incertaine. Les archives de la télévision montrent des émigrants expulsés dans le désert, obligés à commencer à nouveau. Des visages qui ont perdu leur nom. Derrière eux demeurent les espaces vides où tout s’est passé et continuer à se passer. Des traces silencieuses qui révèlent une histoire comme la nôtre.

ENGLISH

A group of refugees from the Congo are stuck in Rabat. The Spanish borderline stops them from entering Europe. In a room on the outskirts of the city they rehearse a theatrical piece based on their own experiences. An imperfect, unfinished staging. Real life and the stage are all mixed together. Apollinaire tells us, face to face, about the never-ending journey with an uncertain ending. Television images show us how many emigrants are expelled into the desert, forced to start their journey once more. Faces whose names are lost. Behind them, the empty spaces of what has already happened. Silent tracks that tell a story the same as ours.
