SINOPSIS

Mientras estudia en España, Belhassen Handous empieza a filmar su vida diaria con un móvil. El juego le engancha y acaba filmando durante cuatro años: la vida de universitario en el extranjero, el regreso a Túnez, los jóvenes que sueñan con irse, la revolución. Este diario filmado es un retrato agridulce de una juventud que aún intenta encandilarse con el mundo. El hecho de filmar se convierte en un acto de resistencia ante las preguntas existenciales y un contexto geopolítico tenso. Es la primera película de la historia del cine tunecino rodada con un móvil.

While studying in Spain, Belhassen Handous started to film his daily life with his mobile phone. He quickly became hooked and spent four years filming his life as a foreign student in Europe, his return to Tunisia, young people who dream of leaving, the revolution. This filmed diary is a bitter sweet portrait of young people who try hard to feel excited by the world. Filming becomes an act of resistance confronted with existentialist questions and a tense geopolitical context. Home Made is the first film in the history of Tunisian cinema to have been made with a mobile phone.
