SINOPSIS

El coreógrafo y los bailarines del Teatro Nacional montan un wemilere (fiesta dedicada a los orishas en yoruba) en honor de un santo pagano. Van a aprender este arte de los anónimos artistas del pueblo. En el filme se mezclan los ensayos con la representación teatral.

Le chorégraphe et les danseurs du Théâtre national montent un wemilere (fête dédiée aux orishas en yoruba) en l’honneur d’un saint païen. Ils apprendront cet art pratiqué par les artistes anonymes du peuple. Dans le film se mêlent les répétitions et la représentation théâtrale.
ENGLISH
The choreographer and the ballerinas at the National Theater stage a Wemilere (a party devoted to the Yoruba orishas) to honor a pagan saint. They learn this art from the anonymous artists that practice it in the village. The rehearsals and the performance blend together in the film.
