Kongo vive en Bruselas, en el barrio «Matongé», sobre el cual escribe un libro. Su editor quiere una especie de guía de viajes salpimentada de ingredientes étnicos. Sin embargo, el escritor se inspira en la visión de las almas complejas y atormentadas con las que se cruza en cada esquina día y noche. Kongo Congo recorre los caminos invisibles que le llevan a la historia congoleña y a sus fantasmas. ¿Cómo es posible seguir adelante con esta historia tan caótica? Teniendo el «juju». Fe en uno mismo. Y el amor de Béatrice.

Kongo vit à Bruxelles. Il habite le quartier « Matongé », sur lequel il écrit un livre. L’éditeur veut une sorte de guide de voyage esthétisant, lissé et épicé d’ingrédients ethniques. Cependant, l’écrivain est inspiré par une vision arpentée nuit et jour par des âmes complexes et tourmentées qu’il croise à chaque coin de rue. Kongo Congo suit des fils invisibles qui le relient à l’histoire congolaise et ses fantômes. Alors comment tenir debout dans ce chaos de l’histoire? Avoir le «juju». La foi en soi. Et l’amour de Béatrice.

Kongo lives in Brussels, in the « Matongé » district on which he is writing a book. His editor wants a kind of traveller’s book spiced with ethnic ingredients. However, the writer is inspired by the vision of the complex and tormented souls that he meets anywhere, night and day. Kongo Congo follows invisible threads connected to Congolese history and its ghosts. How is it possible to hold on in this chaotic history? By having «juju», selfconfidence, and Beatrice’s love.
