SINOPSIS
ESPAÑOL
Una niña africana entregada a los habitantes de su pueblo resulta herida y es llevada al hospital de los blancos. En su agonía, insiste en ver por última vez a Katutu, un anciano ciego y pagano declarado. Esta le expresa su última voluntad: que Katutu se convierta al catolicismo.
FRANÇAIS
Une fillette africaine, totalement dévouée aux habitants de son village, est blessée et est alors emmenée à l’hôpital des blancs. Durant son agonie, elle insiste pour voir une dernière fois Katutu, un vieillard aveugle et païen irréductible. Elle exprime alors sa dernière volonté : que Katutu se convertisse au catholicisme.
ENGLISH
A young African girl devoted to the inhabitants of her village is seriously injured and taken to the white man’s hospital. As she lies on her deathbed, she insists on seeing Katutu, an elderly blind man and a professed pagan. She then states her last wishes; she wants Katutu to convert to Catholicism.
