El Hadj es un estudiante senegalés en Francia. Atrapado en un torbellino de contradicciones, incapaz de escoger entre las gana s de regresar a su país o seguir en otro donde está cómodo, se siente atormentado por sus convicciones y deseos ocultos. El recuerdo del hombre que fue y la idea del hombre que quisiera ser, así como la constatación del hombre en el que cree convertirse… ¿Cómo enfrentarse a todo esto cuando uno cree ser un traidor?

El Hadj is a Senegalese student in Paris. Caught in a maelstrom of contradictions, between his desire to return home to work for his country and that of remaining here where he feels at home, he is tormented by his convictions and unavowed wishes. The memory of the man that he once was, the idea of the man he wishes to become and the analysis of the man he believes himself to be becoming… How do you succeed when you feel like a traitor?

El Hadj est un étudiant sénégalais à Paris. Pris dans des tourbillons contradictoires, entre sa volonté de rentrer travailler pour son pays, et celle de rester finalement là où il se sent bien, il est tourmenté par ses convictions autant que par ses désirs non assumés. Le souvenir de l’homme qu’il était, l’image de l’homme qu’il espérait incarner, et le constat de l’homme qu’il se sent devenir… Comment réussir à s’affronter lorsqu’on se fait l’effet d’un traître ?
