SINOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Después de una ausencia de nueve años, el director regresa a Camerún, para los funerales de su padre. Teme el mal de ojo que ya se ha llevado a varios de sus hermanos y al desacuerdo que reina en el seno de su gran familia. Aprecha el acontecimiento para consultar con su madre, los ancianos y los jóvenes para comprender lo que puede transmitir a sus hijos nacidos en España.

After a nine year absence, the filmmaker returns to Cameroon to attend his father’s funeral. He fears the evil eye as it has already taken several of his brothers, and also the discord that reigns in the midst of his large family. He takes advantage of this moment to consult with his mother, the elders and the young people to see and understand what he can transmit to his children born in Spain.

Après neuf ans d’absence, le réalisateur retourne au Cameroun pour les funérailles de son père. Il craint le mauvais œil qui a emporté plusieurs de ses frères et la mésentente qui règne au sein de sa grande famille. Il profite de cette célébration pour consulter sa mère, les anciens et les jeunes, afin de comprendre ce qu’il pourra transmettre à ses enfants nés en Espagne.
