SINOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Marco, Bisoon y sus amigos trabajaban en la azucarera hasta su repentino cierre. Ahora asisten con total impotencia a la metamorfosis del mundo que les rodea. Donde antes crecía la caña de azúcar se construye una urbanización de lujo, y muy pronto un campo de golf habrá sustituido sus casas. A pesar de la violencia con la que se impone un desarrollo económico del que son excluidos, así como de las humillaciones que sufren a diario, poco a poco aparece una humanidad más poderosa que la dominación. Estaban unidos en el trabajo y ahora harán frente común ante la debacle.

Marco, Bisoon and their friends work at the sugar factory until it suddenly closes one day. Now powerless, they witness the transformation of the world around them. Where once sugar cane grew, now they are building a luxury residential area and soon a golf course will have taken the place of their homes. Despite the violence of the economical development from which they are excluded, as well as the humiliations they suffer daily, little by little, humanity, more powerful than domination, appears. They were united at work and now they unite to face this debacle.

FRANÇAIS

Marco, Bisoon et leurs amis, tous anciens ouvriers du moulin à sucre où ils travaillèrent jusqu’à sa fermeture récente, assistent impuissants à la métamorphose du monde qui était le leur. Au milieu des champs de cannes s’édifie un complexe de villas de luxe et bientôt un golf remplacera leur village. Malgré la violence du développement économique qui les exclut et les humiliations qu’ils subissent au quotidien, progressivement se dessine une humanité plus forte que la domination imposée. Unis, ces hommes l’étaient dans le travail, unis ils feront front dans la débâcle.
