SINOPSIS

Hortense, una enfermera de origen africano de unos cuarenta años, deja su familia para unirse a su amante Jean-Paul, criador de ostras en la bahía de Arcachon. Su marido Malik, un hombre de sesenta años machista y tradicionalista empedernido, siente que su mundo se derrumba a su alrededor. De pronto se encuentra solo con dos hijos de doce y seis años. Por si fuera poco, se entera brutalmente de que su hijo mayor de 24 años, Dani, es gay. La inesperada llegada de la guapa y misteriosa Amina, de Myriam, la vecina solitaria, y de Mama Afoué, su cuñada de Abiyán, hará que todo vaya mucho más deprisa.

Hortense, infirmière d’origine africaine d’une quarantaine d’années, quitte sa famille pour son amant, Jean-Paul, ostréiculteur dans le bassin d’Arcachon. Malik, son mari, la soixantaine tassée, le machisme et la tradition bien chevillée au corps, voit son monde s’écrouler… D’autant qu’il se retrouve seul avec ses deux garçons de douze et six ans, et qu’il découvre brutalement que son fils aîné, Dani, joyeux luron de 24 ans, est homosexuel… L’arrivée dans sa vie de la belle et mystérieuse Amina, de Myriam, la voisine trop seule, puis de Mama Afoué, sa belle-soeur qui débarque d’Abidjan, vont faire avancer les choses à grands pas.

Hortense, a nurse of African origin in her forties, abandons her family to be with her lover, Jean-Paul, an oyster cultivator in the Arcachon Bay. Her husband, Mali, 60, sexist and as traditional as can be, feels his world crumbling around him. He’s suddenly alone with his two sons, aged 12 and 6. And if that weren’t enough, he brutally discovers that his elder son, Dani, 24, is gay. The unexpected arrival of the beautiful and mysterious Amina, of Myriam, the lonely neighbor, and of Mama Afoué with her sister-in-law, Abiyán, will make things accelerate drastically.
