SINOPSIS

Después del ikiza (las matanzas del régimen burundés en 1972 contra intelectuales hutus), refugiados burundeses exiliados en Tanzania fundaron el Partido por la Liberación del Pueblo Hutu. Su brazo armado es el FNL, Frente de Liberación Nacional. En el 2006, después de un largo proceso de negociaciones con la oposición política y armada, el presidente de Burundi llamó a los combatientes del FNL a través de la radio a que se desvincularan de su grupo armado y se unieran voluntariamente al proceso de paz. En este contexto, Sintonizar la paz se adentra, a través de un enfoque de proximidad, en la vida de 3 jóvenes: Désiré, Jean Claude y Jérémie, todos ellos excombatientes del FNL.

Après l’ikiza (tueries du régime burundais en 1972 contre les intellectuels hutus), des réfugiés burundais exilés en Tanzanie avaient fondé le Parti pour la Libération du Peuple Hutu. Le bras armé de ce parti est le FNL, Front National de Libération. En 2006, après un long processus de négociations avec l’opposition politique et armée, le président du Burundi appela les combattants du FNL à travers la radio à se détacher du groupe armé et à adhérer volontairement au processus de paix. Dans ce contexte, Syntonizer Amani pénètre dans la vie de 3 jeunes: Désiré, Jean Claude et Jérémie, ex-combattants du FNL.

After the ikiza (the Burundi killings of Hutu intellectuals in 1972), the Burundi refugees exiled in Tanzania founded the Party for the Liberation of the Hutu People. Its armed representative is the NLF, the National Liberation Front. In 2006, after prolonged negotiations with the opposition and the Army, the president of Burundi made a public call, over the radio, to all NLF soldiers asking them to step away from the armed front and voluntarily join the peace process. Within this context, Tune in to Peace enters the lives of three young people: Désiré, Jean Claude and Jérémie, all ex members of the NLF.
