SINOPSIS

Cervantes es un barrio de Argel donde el director Hassen Ferhani ha decidido plasmar su visión subjetiva de la realidad y de los mitos. Desde el parque “Jardin d’Essai”, donde se rodó la primera película de Tarzán en 1923, hasta la Cueva Cervantes, donde el escritor planeó su huida de Argel, el cineasta habla con los vecinos, explorando su vida diaria y sus sueños.

Filmmaker Hassen Ferhani has chosen the Cervantes district to confront his subjective perspective on reality and myth. From the park “Jardin d’Essai”, where the first Tarzan film was shot in 1923, to the Cervantes Cave where the author prepared his escape from Algeria, Ferhani meets the people and explores their daily life and their dreams.
