Este documental, de título original Témoignages de l’autre côté, ofrece testimonios de distintos inmigrantes senegaleses que viven en España, desde el otro lado, la otra costa, a la que en Senegal se refieren como «El Dorado». Pero «de l’autre côté» también hace referencia al discurso alternativo que pocas veces se oye. Ubicados en distintos espacios, sus protagonistas, Mariama Badji, Assane Diouf y Assane Niang, compartirán su experiencia de la inmigración en un tono de debate y reflexión.

This documentary film, whose original title is Témoignages de l’autre côté, presents the testimonies of different Senegalese immigrants living in Spain, on the other side, the other coast, that ‘El Dorado’ as they call it in Senegal. However, ‘de l’autre côté’ also refers to an alternative discourse that is hardly ever heard. Placed in different spaces, the protagonists, Mariama Badji, Assane Diouf and Assane Niang, will share their experiences of immigration in a format that takes the shape of debate and reflection.

Ce documentaire, sous le titre original Témoignages de l’autre côté, offre le témoignage de différents immigrés sénégalais qui habitent en Espagne, de l’autre côté, celui qu’on appelle ‘El Dorado’ au Sénegal. Mais ‘de l’autre côté’ fait référence aussi à ce discours alternatif qu’on n’entend pas très souvent. Depuis différents lieux, les personnages, Mariama Badji, Assane Diouf et Assane Niang, partagent leurs expériences d’immigration sous une forme de débat et de réflexion.
