SINOPSIS
Una mujer policía se sienta en su coche aparcado. Al cabo de un rato, sale, se pone la gorra de servicio y entra en la prisión. Allí han amanecido horas decisivas para el joven Farah. La maquinaria organizativa se pone en marcha a su alrededor. Farah es examinado por un médico, instruido por el alguacil y atendido por un imán. Farah espera la visita de sus padres. «¿Cómo estás?» es la pregunta que todos le hacen ese día. Cada vez, «Bien» es su escueta respuesta. Sólo cuando a la mañana siguiente la mujer policía se lleva a Farah fuera de la ciudad, lo indecible se convierte en una dolorosa realidad.
SYNOPSIS
A policewoman sits in her parked car. After a while, she gets out, puts on her service cap, and enters the prison. There, decisive hours have dawned for young Farah. Organizational machinery starts up around him. Farah is examined by a doctor, instructed by the bailiff, and looked after by an imam. Farah is waiting for his parents to visit. “How are you?” is the question everyone asks him that day. Each time, “Good” is his concise answer. Only when the policewoman takes Farah out of town the next morning does the unspeakable become a painful reality.
SYNOPSIS
Une policière est assise dans sa voiture garée. Au bout d’un moment, elle sort, met sa casquette de service et entre dans la prison. Des heures décisives attendent le jeune Farah. La machine organisationnelle se met en branle autour de lui. Farah est examiné par un médecin, instruit par l’huissier et suivi par un imam. Farah attend la visite de ses parents. «Comment vas-tu ?» est la question que tout le monde lui pose ce jour-là. À chaque fois, il répond laconiquement : «Bien». Ce n’est que le lendemain matin, lorsque la policière emmène Farah hors de la ville, que l’indicible devient une douloureuse réalité.
