2009. Zaineb is nine years old and lives with her mother and little brother in Tunis. Her father is dead and his mother is about to start a new life with a man who lives in Canada. Zaineb has been told that she will finally see snow there! But she wants nothing of it, she does not tru st Canada and she hates the snow. Spreading over six years of the family as they change and transform, the film is the story of initiation and life and entry into adult life.

On a dit à Zaineb que là-bas elle pourra enfin voir la neige ! Mais elle ne veut rien savoir, le Canada ne lui inspire pas confiance et puis elle n’aime pas la neige. Couvrant six ans de la vie d’une famille en pleine mutation, le film est l’histoire d’une initiation à la vie et au monde des adultes.
