SINOPSIS

La película nos lleva al mundo de los granjeros, pastores y rebeldes de las regiones del Nilo Azul y de las montañas de Nuba, en Sudán, donde siguen ocupándose de la tierra y de los animales, y respetando su cultura tradicional a pesar de los bombardeos por parte del gobierno y de la guerra civil. Tradicionalmente, la música ha formado parte de la vida cotidiana de esas regiones, pero ahora tiene un nuevo papel en una sociedad herida por la guerra.

The movie immerses us in the world of the Sudanese farmers, herders and rebels of the Blue Nile and Nuba Mountains regions, who defiantly celebrate their heritage and tend their lands in the face of a government bombing campaign, showing how they deal with civil war. Traditionally music has always be part of daily life in these areas, but now, it has a new role in a society challenged by war.
