SINOPSIS

Túnez antes de la revolución. Un motorista, navaja en mano, recorre las calles de la ciudad rajando las nalgas de las mujeres. Le llaman “Le Challat” (La Navaja), y basta con mencionar su nombre para suscitar el terror y la fascinación. ¿Delincuente solitario, leyenda urbana, creación de un grupo político o de fanáticos religiosos? Diez años después, en la época posprimavera árabe, una joven realizadora decide investigar para descubrir el misterio del auténtico Challat de Túnez.

Tunisia, before the revolution. A man on a motorbike, razor blade in hand, prowls the streets of Tunis slashing women’s buttocks. They call him “Le Challat”, aka «The Blade», and the mere mention of his name provokes fascination and terror. Is he a lone criminal, an urban legend, or could he be the creation of a political group or religious fanatics? Ten years later, in the aftermath of the Arab Spring, a stubborn young female director sets out on an investigation to unravel the mystery and discover the true Challat of Tunis.
