SINOPSIS

El Malga es un tranquilo pueblecito en el sur de Túnez que vive al ritmo de las fiestas nacionales, para las que el Comité Cultural propone eternamente el mismo programa. Pero una llamada desde la capital les avisa de que un equipo alemán de televisión va a visitar la zona. El Comité Cultural decide ofrecer una imagen positiva del pueblo y del país, por lo que se lanza a una auténtica puesta en escena para esconder la verdad.

El Malga est un village tranquille du Sud tunisien qui vit au rythme des fêtes nationales pendant lesquelles le comité culturel propose systématiquement le même programme. Un coup de téléphone de la capitale annonce la visite prochaine d’une équipe de télévision allemande dans la région. Le comité culturel décide alors de donner une image positive de son village et de son pays et se livre à une véritable mise en scène qui travestit la réalité.
ENGLISH
Malga is a quiet village in the South of Tunisia that beats to the rhythm of the national holidays for which the Cultural Committee proposes the same program year after year. However, a phone call from the capital warns them that this year a German TV crew is going to visit the area. The Cultural Committee decides it has to offer a positive image of the village, and the country, and dives head-first into a tremendous work of set dressing to conceal the truth.
