SINOPSIS
Christina Mureti, una policía urbana de fuerte carácter, es trasladada a un pequeño pueblo desértico de Namibia, donde descubre una serie de sacrificios de animales pardos, posiblemente relacionados con la desaparición de los hijos de los aldeanos. Después, un granjero alemán aparece colgado del árbol donde los antepasados de Christina fueron ahorcados hace un siglo, durante la guerra colonial alemana y el genocidio herero. Solo cuando Christina empiece a conocer la historia de su pueblo y adopte parte de la sabiduría de su cultura ancestral podrá resolver el caso.
SYNOPSIS
Christina Mureti, an urban policewoman with a strong character, is transferred to a small desert village in Namibia where she discovers a series of grizzly animal sacrifices, possibly linked to the disappearance of the villagers’ children. Then a German farmer is found hanging from the tree where Christina’s ancestors were hanged a century ago, during the German colonial war and the Herero genocide. Only when Christina begins to learn the history of her people and embrace some of the wisdom of her ancestral culture will she be able to solve the case.
SYNOPSIS
Christina Mureti, une policière urbaine au caractère bien trempé, est mutée dans un petit village désertique de Namibie où elle découvre une série de sacrifices d’animaux grizzlis, possiblement liés à la disparition des enfants des villageois. Puis un fermier allemand est retrouvé pendu à l’arbre où les ancêtres de Christina ont été pendus il y a un siècle, pendant la guerre coloniale allemande et le génocide des Héréros. Ce n’est que lorsque Christina commencera à découvrir l’histoire de son peuple et à embrasser une partie de la sagesse de sa culture ancestrale qu’elle sera en mesure de résoudre l’affaire.
