SINOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Un presidente que lleva 42 años en el poder sale discretamente del palacio presidencial la víspera de una importante consulta electoral. Los medios, los aspirantes al poder e incluso los prisioneros políticos siguen de cerca la desaparición. El presidente emprende un viaje con su chófer y su guardaespaldas hacia el pueblo donde nació, pero solo consigue dar vueltas sin llegar a ninguna parte. El presidente está perdido en un país que ha olvidado y que le devuelve la imagen de su propio fracaso, como le dice un joven rapero que decide ir a su encuentro.
Al final acaba en casa de su ex-compañera. Allí entenderá que su viaje no era de ida y vuelta.

ENGLISH

A president who has been in power for 42 years leaves discretely the presidential palace on the eve of an important election. The media, his contenders, even the political prisoners, everybody is hanging on every bit of news about his disappearance. The president decides to go back to his native village with his driver and his bodyguard, but he is unable to find it. The president is lost in a country he decided to forget about and that reflects his own failure, as a young rapper clearly tells him.
He ends up in the home of his ex-lady partner who decided to leave everything behind. There he will understand that his was a journey of no return.
