SINOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Dos jóvenes actores (Hamza y Zineb) se desplazan a una remota área en los montes del Atlas para documentarse acerca de sus papeles en la obra “La leyenda de Isla y Tisselt”, que cuenta la historia de dos amantes cuyas lágrimas crearon los dos lagos que llevan sus nombres.
Allí conocen a Mohamed, un joven pastor que sueña con convertirse en un gran cantante y casarse con Aicha, el amor de su vida. El espacio que recorren y las personas con las que se encuentran les convencerán de que el amor es mucho más de lo que habían creído hasta ahora, notando sensaciones inesperadas en el aire las nubes, el trueno, el agua y la vida cotidiana de los nómadas. Junto con el pastor descubrirán cosas que no se ven, sino que se sienten.

ENGLISH

Two young actors (Hamza and Zineb) travel to a remote area in the Atlas mountains to research the parts they are supposed to play in an upcoming fictional rendition of “The Legend of Isli and Tisselt”; a tale of two lovers whose tears are believed to have created the two lakes that bear their names.
Zineb and Hamza encounter Mohamed, a young local shepherd whose dream is to become a great singer and to marry Aicha, the love of his life. The space and people that cross Zineb and Hamza´s path reinforce the notion that love may be about more than these two have always believed it to be. They sense things in the rhythms of the air, clouds, the thunder, the water, and the seemingly ordinary lives of the nomads they meet. For a while, the two young actors and Mohamed are challenged to discover a few things that cannot be seen as much as they can be sensed.
